DDoS Protection Upgrade: Enhanced Infrastructure Resilience Live

Rate limiting, traffic shaping, proof-of-work puzzles for new connections, and redundant relay infrastructure deployed to handle sustained DDoS attacks.

DDoS Protection Upgraded: New Infrastructure Resilience

DDoS attacks are a persistent threat to darknet platforms. This update details the infrastructure upgrades deployed to substantially improve platform resilience against sustained distributed denial-of-service attacks.

Protective Layers

Application-level rate limiting restricts request rates per circuit. Proof-of-work puzzles for new connections make large-scale bot connections prohibitively expensive. Redundant introduction point management distributes and rotates introduction points to reduce single-point flooding effectiveness. Additional mirror nodes with independent upstream infrastructure ensure no single provider failure affects all mirrors simultaneously.

During any DDoS events, try all three verified mirror addresses — different mirrors may be affected differently by any given attack.
