Harm Reduction Resources Now Available — Safety Information for All Users

New harm reduction resources added: drug safety, testing kit guides, overdose recognition and response, emergency contacts for users across all jurisdictions.

Harm Reduction Resources Section Launched

A comprehensive harm reduction resource section has been launched, providing drug safety information, testing kit guidance, overdose recognition and response, and emergency contacts for users in all jurisdictions.

The Public Health Case

Harm reduction is not an endorsement of drug use — it acknowledges that people will make their own choices, and that withholding life-saving information causes additional harm. Academic research consistently demonstrates that harm reduction interventions reduce overdose deaths and hospitalisation rates without increasing overall drug use.

Resources Available

The section covers overdose recognition and response for opioids, stimulants, depressants, and psychedelics; drug-drug interaction warnings; drug testing kit guidance including fentanyl test strips; crisis support contacts; and links to DanceSafe, Erowid, and TripSit. Visit the full harm reduction guide. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
